Highly inspired by a list of Dutch-English homonyms I found in
The Undutchables (see Books), I tried to find words
that could possibly cause embarrassment.
I would like to point out that the words listed here often only cause
misunderstandings when not pronounced correctly. But, on the other
hand, those who know how to pronounce them correctly are the more
advanced learners and they would hardly mix up the meanings anyway
(unless they want to play tricky jokes).
To update this list regularly, I would appreciate all suggestions.
